Thanks for the quick response. However, I have multiple issues with iTunes. This is Version 12.12.2.2 from Microsoft Store. I needed an icon on the desktop so that I could run as administrator. This was recommended to solve the initial problem of not being able to edit multiple songs at once. I can edit one song at a time, but not multiple ones. I have the following issues:
1. Cannot add icon to desktop- iTunes does not appear in c:\Program Files or c:\Program Files(86).
2- Cannot uninstall iTunes- since it does not appear in the list of apps at "Programs and Features".
3- Cannot repair iTunes- since it does not appear in the list of apps at "Programs and Features".
4- Cannot run as administrator: When I right click the iTunes.exe file at C:\Users\useriD\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps, I get the 'Restrictions" pop-up, then click 'OK' the app terminates. (it no longer appears as a running App in Task Manager).
5- The iTunes.exe file have a length of zero, although they do seem to work.
6- Cannot edit multiple songs at the same time.
At this point, I am ready to give up on iTunes (although having been struggling with it for 5 years) and try an alternative.
Thanks for your help.
Ron
Uninstall the copy from the Microsoft Store, then install using the traditional installer. Use these links:

PROBLEM SOLVED!
The solution provided in another post worked fine for me.
I went to the desktop and created a shortcut to
C:\Users\myuserid\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\iTunes.exe
This file (iTunes.exe) has a length of zero, but it works in an icon.
I did not have to change any permissions. And now I can edit the properties of multiple songs at once.
Thanks for all who responded to my question.

Personally, I don't understand that suggestion. If you can open iTunes, then why would the lack of desktop icon prevent you from making changes to songs?
To add a desktop icon, go to the Windows start button (1.), look in the list of programmes (All programs section) for iTunes (2.), open it, select More (3.) and then Pin To Taskbar (4.):
You do not need to be using Windows Explorer (C:/Program File) to find this.
Cannot edit multiple songs at the same time
Perhaps one or more of your selection is Read-only.
You can try repairing the iTunes installation, or pin iTunes to the task bar after running it from the start menu.
