MacBook Pro Won't Connect To Home Wifi - Weird Circumstances

  • 2017 13 inch MacBook Pro
  • Will not connect to home wi-fi
  • Will connect to work wi-fi and apple store wi-fi just fine
  • It asks for my wi-fi password, attempts to connect, then brings me back to the password request screen as though I am putting in the wrong password
  • I am confident I am using the right password because I have signed-off/forgotten the network on other devices (iPhone, iPad) and then re-connected, so I know I'm using the right password.
  • Today at work I completely wiped the MacBook and reinstalled/updated the OS. When I got home I tried connecting again and no good.
  • I've tried the trick of deleting the wi-fi "profile" from network presences and then recreating it but also no luck
  • I thought maybe there was some kind of limit to the number of devices allowed on my wi-fi, so I turned off wi-fi on everything except this MacBook and still no luck.
  • The "share wi-fi password" function from my iPhone doesn't work either. It says on my phone that is sharing, but never actually does anything.
  • I can airdrop videos and photos from my phone to the MacBook

Its very strange. Any thoughts?
