Apple wireless mouse, keyboard to MacBook Air for charging

What adapter do I need to buy to connect a wireless Bluetooth mouse and keyboard from a 2015 desk top Mac to a new MacBook Air, 2020? Have each paired but cords I have don’t work with thunderbolt port on new Mac for charging each of them, figuring needed a new adapter or cord.

TIA

I have the same KB and Magic Mouse from my 2015 iMac. They are recharged via a lightning socket and your 2020 MacBook Air has a USB-C Thunderbolt port. So you'd need a USB-C Thunderbolt to Lightning Cable
