My phone says that there are no updates even though it should be compadable

When I try to go to update to even iOS 13is says that’s it can’t update past IOS 12.5 please help

an iPhone 6 Plus is not compatible with iOS beyond iOS 12. Your phone should be able to update to 12.5.5
