Connect an AirPrint printer to a Wi-Fi network

Sometimes a restart of the Router is required with the printer as Off.

Then once router is up and functioning turn on printer and go thought the connection process with the Printer to Wifi.

The try to setup the AirPrint process on the computer.

Had similar issue at the start with Epson ET 2750 and all is sorted now.

Hi Light.em,

If you go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners does your printer show up there?

When you say the "Wi Fi on the printer is not responding" that suggests that the printer has a problem with its connection to your router, access point, etc. That issue would not be caused by an OS upgrade on your Mac.

Presuming your description of the printer Wi-Fi connection being the case, forget your Mac for a moment and focus on reestablishing your printers Wi-Fi connection. Depending on the printers features, that can sometimes be done with WPS. If not, then manually through the menus.

Once you know that the printers Wi-Fi is working, return to your Mac to be sure that your printer then shows up in the Printers & Scanners.
