im filling out the apple trade in questions, they asked about the processor, serial number, year and etc. they asked about the amount of storage and gave choices such like does your macbook have 128GB SSD or 256GB SSD and etc. i went to check how much storage my laptop had but its none of the options that were given. what should i do?

You say that you have a MacBook, but your tag indicates that you have a MacBook Pro. They are not the same thing.
Use the Apple menu's, "About This Mac," to properly identify your Mac and to give you information about its installed options.

True, but all that will give is the official specs of the model. He may have a different drive than the OEM.
Apple does not provide increased trade in value for any user installed upgrades.
here is the picture and i dont recall changing out the disk at all. i clicked on storage and it said x.xx GB available of 121.12 GB. (the x being numbers i just dont think i have to specify the amount ive used)

What Apple is asking is the original capacity as supplied at time of purchase.
Has the disk been swapped out that you know of?
Open the Apple icon and post here the data found in About This Mac. Leave out the serial number.
