What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

It could show this image for Apple TV (2nd or 3rd generation), I think.

As the mentioned URL indicates, you should restore the system software, externally through a USB-tethered computer. If your computer is a Mac with macOS Mojave or earlier, or a Windows PC, then use the iTunes application to do this. If your computer is a Mac with macOS Catalina or later, then this procedure can be done in Finder.

Restore your Apple TV - Apple Support

  • Use a USB cord that supports data transfer. Charging cables from other devices may not work for this.
  • Apple TV (2nd generation) needs to be unpowered. Apple TV (3rd generation) would need to be powered at the described moment.
