back up not working and factory install fails

I hav e attempted to factory reset my macbook pro and now I can't get the operating system to install. It goes all the way through the set up programme and fails at the last moment. I have a back up on time machone but itsnot seeing my recent ones fromthis device. Currrently stuck with no machone. Any ideas?

Hi,

I think you'd better factory resetting from the scratch with Recovery Mode.

How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, resetting and Reinstall MacOS at your local AppleStore Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider, as far as I know, it's free.
