back up not working and factory install fails

I hav e attempted to factory reset my macbook pro and now I can't get the operating system to install. It goes all the way through the set up programme and fails at the last moment. I have a back up on time machone but itsnot seeing my recent ones fromthis device. Currrently stuck with no machone. Any ideas?

Does Restoring my Mac from a Time Machine back up really mean I erase my destination drive? I am faced with restoring my Mac after a crash using a Time Machine backup for the first time. It won’t start up after a series of crashes for some reason. I have recently cleared the Mackintosh drive and I now have my system booting up from a C Drive , a new SSD. So when I’ve followed the steps as described on Apple support sites I reach the following message...which no one seems to have mentioned. so ...what do I do? It seems drastic to erase this new drive. Will it just be replaced by the last Time Machine back up or will I lose data.

My Macbook wont let me do a backup and does not find my internal drive??? please help Mackbook is all messed up: 1- Wont show an internal drive 2- no backup and or no time machine 3- pictures are back up 3 & 4 times now have over 15,000 photos 4- my settings for I think my whole computer are off !! Please I need Help

Hi,

I think you'd better factory resetting from the scratch with Recovery Mode.

How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, resetting and Reinstall MacOS at your local AppleStore Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider, as far as I know, it's free.
