How do you discard apps you no longer want

Hold your finger on the app until a menu appears and choose Delete. If you don’t have delete and if you are using Screen Time, go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/iTunes & App Store Purchases - Change Deleting Apps to Allow.
Then go back and try deleting the app again.
