Your phone is water resistant, not water proof. You could make an appointment with a Genius Bar, but I’m not share what they can do. This seems like an excellent opportunity to buy a new iPhone.
Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty.
