how to convert current apple id to kids apple id

hi guys,

how do i convert an apple ID to kids apple id, currently i try to enter birthday but got below screenshot error

change kids apple id I've created kids Apple ID for Family sharing sometime back. Now kids are soon getting their own phones, but they want to change the Apple ID I've created. I couldn't find a way to change their Apple ID as they are still under 13. I know we can create an alias in iCloud, besides that there doesn't seem to be a way to change the Apple ID (let's say from abc@icloud.com to zyd@icloud.com). I appreciate your help regarding this. You need to set up Family Sharing as stated by the error message. Then follow the steps in the link in your post.
