Instagram notifications

Usually whenever you get a notification from Instagram; the sender’s profile picture displays along with the notification; just like it displays on iMessages.

For some reason whenever I get a notification from Instagram the sender’s profile picture is not displayed; I am assuming this is a software glitch since iMessage notifications work perfectly fine and displays the sender’s profile picture

I am using Instagram on multiple apple devices; could this be a problem?
