Is it safe to charge both iPad and keyboard at the same time? Does it charge the iPad faster?

Are you referring to the iPad and the Magic Keyboard? The Magic Keyboard for the iPad has a charging port and the iPad has a charging port. If you connect power to the Magic Keyboard and to the iPad, then your iPad is NOT going to charge any faster. Your iPad is going to default to one of the ports for charging while the other will remain idle. Don’t bother trying this because your iPad will not charge faster. You will just end up blocking both ports.
