I accidentally put my iphone in ERASE PENDING MODE, and need to get it out of it before I lose everything on it.

Something should be there. If there is nothing to tap, then contact Apple Support. See if they can run you through the fix.

Why the Wait:
Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
I went to icloud.com. Everything there is listed as offline, and before, there was my iphone with erase pending in red by it. It is now either erased or off line, but there was no "cancel erase" anywhere
It was not helpful, but I don't think my iphone is erased, but I have no idea how to get out of this predicament.
