I can't print. I keep getting a Print Job is not Accepted message. How do I fix this?

PauluitHelmond thanks for chiming in.

I do not have the 6400 and I'm not running Monterey. [ I'm tried installing it without any joy. ]

Is this the exact message? "Print Job is not Accepted message" I'm not finding references when I do a search. Please provide exact wording. Did it appear after you tried to print?

I suggest trying the printer via a usb connection.

I see the 6400 is an airprinter. You should try printing from your phone.

These suggests are to help narrow down the issue.

Update to the latest printer firmware. Driver update was on Jun 22, 2021. There could be an update for monterey. I recommend driver updates only when you are experimenting a problem. HP as been noted to sometimes reduce function in driver updates. ex. no long supporting third party ink cartridges.

on your iPhone, download the Discovery app. I will display what's on your wifi network or at least the portion dealing with airprint.

-HP Envy Pro 6400 series

-I set it up. Not sure what else that means. The lights are on and its connected to the WiFi.

-No this is a new new computer

-Yes it's all been powered down.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the printer and everything to do with how it is connected to the MacBook. I am not a proficient user of Apple computers, just phones, which are different.

It seems to be a specific message. Is this something you are familiar with?
