I currently pay $2.99/mo for iCloud 200gb as does my husband. Is it the same as iCloud+ or do I need to cancel the old subscription for the new iCloud+? I need the 200gb as does my husband for photos and videos. And do we both need iCloud+ or I believe I read somewhere we share iCloud+? Thank you!
Paid iCloud plans are now known as iCloud+, that change was automatic.
You can certainly establish a family share to share space in iCloud. You could sign up for 2TB and share that space, or you could share 200GB. https://www.apple.com/family-sharing/
