My phone is stuck displaying a screen saying "Your emergency contacts have been notified" and I can't figure out how to stop it... What do I do?

Thanks Katana-San:

You have probably diagnosed the Original Poster's issue properly than I did. I reacted to the title of the post which is, "iPhone 11 disabled". More than likely, you are right about your resolution when applied to the explanation in the body of OPs post.

I understand that your iPhone has been disabled and you are no longer able to enter the passcode to get to the Home Screen of the iPhone. You will need to reset the passcode on the iPhone. You will need a computer to complete this task. You can reset your passcode by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to reset your passcode on a disabled iPhone. All your data on your iPhone will be wiped clean in the process.

If you have a backup created then you can ➔ Restore Your iPhone from that backup file. If you do not have a backup file created then you will lose all your data on the iPhone.

If Photos, Messages and Contacts are synced to iCloud then you will be able to retrieve them after setting up iCloud on your iPhone after you reset the passcode and sign into iCloud.

Hello ~ I might also suggest one of ** Axel Foley’s ** other excellent prior posts since your iPhone is stuck on emergency contact page. Take a look here:

**Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF). **
