Stuck during set up of new Mac.

Setting up a new Mac, it’s stuck on the add a card to Apple Pay agreement. I click accept and it won’t continue, if I click decline it still won’t continue. I tried restarting and it goes straight back to the same page and won’t let me continue.

can’t click out of it but doesn’t respond to any buttons I press.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.0

Could Not Set Up Apple Pay on Mac I am trying to set up Apple Pay on a MacBook Pro 15" 2018 with T2 chip running macOS 10.14.6. The startup security settings are set to maximum, and all security updates have been installed. When I attempt to add a credit card (System Preferences > Wallet & Apple Pay > Add Card... I receive a message Apple documentation indicates that startup security settings could be too low, or that some security updates have not been installed. I had lowered the startup security settings when I bought the machine new in 2018, but was able to setup Apple Pay anyway at some point. Several days ago, when I noticed this error message, I booted into recovery mode, started the Startup Security Utility, and could not get past an error message that no admin account was found on the startup volume. Since then I have been trying to resolve that issue, and succeeded by erasing the boot volume and reinstalling macOS in recovery mode, then migrating user accounts and data, and applications and setting from a backup. That having worked, I was able to change the startup security settings, so now they are maximal. I also installed all security updates that were missing from the clean reinstall. Nevertheless, the message still appears. Has anybody encountered this problem before? I notice on iCloud.com in my Account Settings that Apple Pay is still configured with the credit card that I am attempt to add to the wallet on the MBP 15".

Failing to add Apple Pay card to Wallet Hi, I am encountering a strange problem: I can't add my Apple Pay enabled cards to my MacBook Pro (2018) anymore. It once worked, but somehow something with the security settings / T2 chip is messed up I guess. In the Settings -> Wallet and Apple Pay menu, I can click "Add Card" but I immediately get the message "Apple Pay configuration has failed". Apple Pay has been disabled because security settings have changed. I can click for more information, but that doesn't help me out. It shows me how to reboot the machine and change the security settings to the highest level, but it was already at the highest level. I once used lower settings to boot a Linux distribution, but this is long ago. The strange thing is, after a complete reset (first unlogging the device form my AppleID account, then downloading, formatting the whole drive and reinstalling macOS) which took me a few hours, the problem still exists. is there anyone who has an idea about what's going wrong here?

MacBook Pro 2021 14" add card frozen I am setting up my new MacBook Pro 14" and a software glitch is stuck on adding a card to ApplePay. It gets to the terms and conditions accept or decline window but won't let me click either. It has locked the pop up window and won't let me exit to finish the set up. Normally I'd restart the computer but it's in set up mode and not finished. help please
