Migrating from Fitbit to Apple Watch

I love the new Apple Watch 7 but also love my Fitbit Aria scales. Why doesn’t Apple encourage migration by allowing the new phone to read my weight from the Aria scales?

Try asking Aria if they do or intend to do an apple watch app.

I don't understand why I can't get Apple fitness on my watch plus iMac or MacBook. Why is this? I want to use them on the go and my phone is too small to see and prop up in an office or hotel room somewhere. Apple please just make this possible. I have had this for a year and used it twice for this very reason. Will be stopping subscription without it.
