My Apple ID lists a number of Windows Desktops, each with an identifying number, e.g. DESKTOP TLOP7FL. What is the identifier and how do I determine which Desktop it refers to? I want to clean up the list by deleting old desktops but can't identify which one's are current and which are no longer in use.

If you can't determine which PC in the list is the current PC, you can remove them all from your Apple ID. Then go to the current PC and use the Add section of the article to add the current PC(s) back to your list.
Thanks for the prompt response. Unfortunately the only details provided under each desktop device is : "Model Windows; Version Windows 10.0 (0,0)" which doesn't help me identify which desktop it is. Does the identifier after each listed Desktop mean anything, such as the serial number of the device?

Thanks. That is what I have done. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an option to rename the device so have had to make a separate record so I can identify which devices are listed in the future.

I don't know, particularly since i do not have a Windows computer. On my Apple devices there is a place where I can assign names to my devices. I keep my 3 iPhones identifiable this way.
