how do I redeem a gift book from the UK to the US ? App keeeps saying code is only good in UK. I am in US.

Gifting Apple audiobooks across countries and Bookstores Hi, I am living in the USA, and am trying to gift an audiobook on the apple books store to a family member residing in India. When I am close to checkout, the store gives me a notification telling me that this purchase will only work in the US app store. Is there a way to gift books/audiobooks to people in different countries? I don't mind paying in the currency of the receiver's country. Frankly, if anyone knows any other method (non-apple) to do so, that would be helpful too. It is weird that Apple being a global community does not allow such purchases.

Gift card for recipient in another country (US to UK) I want to give an iTunes subscription to a friend in the UK but I live in the US... thought maybe with an electronic gift card, but they seem to be country-specific. ?
