I’m having trouble connecting my HomePod mini to the internet.
Hi there Browndog2022,
Thanks for reaching out to us here in Apple Support Communities! We understand your HomePod mini isn't connecting to Wi-Fi as expected. We're glad you're here, and we can provide some guidance.
"In iOS 12 and later, HomePod will automatically connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
HomePod doesn’t support captive or subscription networks. If you set up HomePod to use one of these networks, you’ll need to reset HomePod and set it up again on a different Wi-Fi network." Have a look at the 'Check your Wi-Fi connection' section in this support article:
Keeping that information in mind, is your paired device connected to a captive or subscription Wi-Fi network? Learn more about captive networks here:
Use captive Wi-Fi networks on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If your paired iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is connected to a captive Wi-Fi network, you can follow the steps in the link below to reset your HomePod mini and set it up on a different network:
Set up and use HomePod mini and HomePod
We hope this information is helpful. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any more questions.
Take care!
