I can’t get apple music family sharing to work

I have set up Apple Music Family sharing, but cannot get it to work. I invited a family member, she has “agreed” to everything, but gets a “cannot connect” notification when she tries to use it.

tips?

We see you're having trouble sharing your Apple Music subscription with a family member. Are you able to confirm in your settings that they are actively part of your Family Sharing group? If they are, but just unable to use Apple Music have they tried connecting with a different network? You can find some additional troubleshooting here: Add a family member to your subscriptions from Apple


Specifically you may find the section labeled "If you still can't share a subscription" helpful.
