Automatic response to texts - how do I do this? Previous functionality no longer exists

I am going on a silent meditation retreat.

I only get texts, not calls.

I need to tell my texters that I'm not available and also not dead, but on a silent retreat.

I can find no way to do this within this incredibly confusing "Focus" section.

Does anyone else have any ideas or help to offer?

Its clear that this is something that was formerly offered.

Thanks.

You can do either:

  1. Modify the driving focus.
    1. change the auto response text
    2. change the "turn on automatically" to manually.
  2. Create a new focus.
    1. Ensure focus Statius is set to "share focus status." This will provide an alert to folks that you have messages silenced within apps they use. It's not an auto reply, but it does indicate that you have notifications silenced.
