Can you delete an app that you’ve hidden

Okay here you go:

1. You cannot delete an application while it is hidden.
2. You can unhide an app (you've been give an link to show you how to do this) and if it is not certain system apps you can delete it.
3. You cannot delete apps from your purchase history.

No. Not on you own. So, you'll just keep it hidden.

When it Does Go Away:

It will go away, though, if the app is ever removed for the App Library. This all has to Duce with licensing between Apple and the Developer.

If you want to remove it from being hidden, then simply unhide it.

No, you did not provide any details just like this post. I suggest since you are apparently embarrassed that you click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page and deal directly with Apple Support.

Do you mean delete the app from your Home screen, delete the app from your app library and thus completely from the phone, or delete the record of the app in your purchase history? The users who have responded so far have different interpretations of what you want to do, because “delete” can have multiple meanings.

It might help if you provide some details.
