I have created a keynote presentation on my M1Pro MacBook. I wan't to show it on a pc so I exported it to powerpoint.
The powerpoint plays fine in powerpoint on my mac but when I try to load it on the pc it says that this program was not created in powerpoint and cannot be opened.
I have tried exporting it on .ppt and .pptx
Any help with how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone else is having the same problem the workaround is to export the keynote file to powerpoint then open that file in powerpoint on the mac. From powerpoint on mac 'save as' to a USB. This file will then work on the pc.

For those without Powerpoint on the Mac, one may be able to open the Keynote exported Powerpoint presentation in a current LibreOffice Presentation session and then save it as a Powerpoint 2007 - 365 (pptx) document. It should then open properly in Powerpoint (Mac/Windows).
