Find My dead Watch

My dead, lost Apple Watch shows up in Find My.

I gave up looking for it two months ago because I knew the battery was dead. But now it’s showing up. Everywhere I go. It’s not in my car because I am not with my car. I’ve checked all my bags many times, but I plan on checking them again.

Is this a bug or is there hope?

The Find My app shows it at the store where I went last night. It was not found/turned in and I have searched the parking lot. Find My for lost Apple Watch with dead battery Help! I’ve misplaced my watch. It’s somewhere inside my home. Battery is dead (it won’t ping via Find My), but it keeps showing an updated location every 24 hours on the Find My app. Am I totally out of luck until I physically stumble upon it? Or is the updated location hope to locate it with the app in some miraculous way??

A dead watch cannot send a location signal.
