Has any other one noticed that the Watch freezes randomly on watch face page on watchos 8.3 on an Apple Watch 7? It needs to be hard rebooted. Doesn’t happen on any other watch face and never happened on previous software releases.

It appears that you're having a problem with your Apple Watch 7 after updating to watchOS 8.3. The Memoji watch face causes your Apple Watch to stop responding and you have to force restart your watch to get it working again. We're glad to glad to provide assistance.
Unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone, then set it up as a new Apple Watch. Add the Memoji watch face and test the issue. If your Apple Watch works as expected, unpair once again and set it up with the backup that was created when you first unpaired and test once again.

Yep I got an Apple Watch 7 for Christmas so set it up as new on wOS8.3 with my new iPhone 13 mini and love the Memoji watch face, but it keeps freezing randomly forcing me to reset too 😢
mice today switched to Mickey Mouse and had no problems at all…
I’m not sure how or why but 8.4.1 seems to have done the trick for me - been rocking the Animoji watch face yesterday and today and it’s not froze once! 🤩
I've had the same problem with both my series SE and now the new 7. But it's only when I use Memoji face page, not the others. So I believe the fault lies with that specific face page. Does Apple know?
It's boring because you want to use your watch without any problems. I thought I was the only one in the entire world with this issue! Ha ha! To be continued....
I purchased a brand new 7 series watch on Jan 22, 2022. My Memoji face page keep freezing too. At first, I had to do a hard reboot but then my watch started rebooting itself. It started to happen more frequently that my watch keep freezing when it sets on the Memoji face page.
I even unpaired, erased all info, and reinstall it. Still having the same issue, I decided to return it and get a new watch. It’s been a month and now my watch is acting up again when I set it to the Memoji face on my watch. I'm not sure if there's a bug with the software or something is wrong with my watch.
it seems that on 8.4.1. reboot is less frequent, but definitely still happening. at least it seems that now it is rebooting automatically, without needing to force restart the watch. still a bummer though.

Finally! That sucks to hear but at least we can understand that it's clearly a bug with the last software update. never happened to me before on previous watch models and softwares. I just hope this reaches apple and they release a fix in the next os release. thanks for sharing!
I spoke with the support and they ask me to take the Apple Watch to the store to be inspected. But I can really see it’s only a software bug. As I can hear this from many people with different watches. Hope it gets fixed soon. Thank you for sharing.
Are you using it with a specific emoji or complication? I've tried again, it seems to work fine, but after a couple of hours it happens again, forcing me to force restart. I've even restored the entire watch, but that didn't help neither.
It clearly has something to do with the software. Used to work perfectly for me on a series 7, but since watchOS 8.3 it has never been working properly. We can only hope that Apple detect this and fix it in the next release.
Yes I am facing same issue. I bought watch 7 in February, used memoji facewatch after 7 days and it started giving me trouble. It was keep freezing, no issue with other face watch. I contacted Apple support, they were surprised by the issue like never heard before. They sent me a replacement watch, guess what I am having same freezing issue with memoji face watch. I contacted Apple again and asked about any known bug regarding issue, Apple denied that and keep asking me to do random stuff on watch. I am tired of it now. Of course with Apple support. I gave up now.
I had the same problem with my se watch and thought it was a problem because it was refurbished so si upgraded to a 7 and still have the same issue, very frustrating because that is my favorite watch face
My Apple Watch 4 is doing the same thing. Never had any problems with it before. I have tried several things and nothing fixes it. It’s very random.
Still happening to this date. I never seen my AWS7 had any issue with other watch faces, only with the emoji ones.
