Music App Overrides Other App Audio

If I adjust the volume in my Lexus, music randomly turns on and plays over whatever app I was listening to. When connected via Bluetooth to my 2014 Lexus IS350, I’m listening to a stream in the Facebook app for example, and I adjust the volume from the car controls, the Facebook app stops playing and the Music app opens and starts playing. This vehicle doesn't have carplay. Is there any solution to this?

1000% the issue. Lexus doesn’t use a Sony audio player, but I found the “Connect Audio Player from” setting and toggled from “Vehicle” to “Device”. The issue is now non-existent. Thanks for the assist @SracanKrA

This is your Car Audio Issue. Not an iPhone or Carplay issue.

I have two cars (No CarPlay) one with Sony DSX A410BT and the second one with Sony MEX BT3153U

My iPhone 12 Pro iOS 15.1.1 when connects to this audio system

As soon as the ignition is put ON in the car with the audio system, Sony DSX A410BT connects automatically to Bluetooth and then automatically opens iTunes and automatically starts to play from where it last left off.

All Automatic: Bluetooth connection, Opening iTunes, Song selection, Play

But, But - Same iPhone

As soon as the ignition is put ON in the car with the audio system, Sony MEX BT3153U does nothing automatically

Manual Connection: Connect Manually to Bluetooth, Manually Open iTunes, Manually Select Songs, Manually Play
