Can I get Paramount Canada on my 1st generation Apple TV box

If you have a small black box then it's at least a 2nd gen. The older models did not have apps, just preset server-based channels. If you had the 3rd gen you would at least have a the server version of Apple's TV app, which allows you to subscribe to the Apple hosted version of Paramount Plus. However, in order to run the native TV app or any 3rd party, like Paramount, you would need an Apple TV HD (4th gen) or newer.
