Well it will do if you are using the same Apple ID account. Use separate Apple IDs, and use Family Sharing - Apple (UK) to share purchases etc. That would be the best practice. You can see the Apple ID in use by opening settings, tapping your name (it’ll say Apple ID, iCloud etc.), and viewing the email displayed underneath your name. If both of you have the same email, that is why. You need to use separate Apple IDs.
