I want to have video calls mirrored on to my TV with family in Dubai, so I bought Apple TV to try and replicate this.
I believe I need to use Zoom platform when I mirror my iPhone onto the tv the picture doesn’t fill the whole screen.
my question is : How can I view a video call on a full TV screen

Zoom is free. So not sure what you bought. Yes, I meant iPhone not iPad.
The video size is app dependent, and most will not fill the screen when being Airplayed. The best you can do with Zoom is to rotate the iPhone to Landscape mode, so the video on the TV rotates too, and will be a bit larger.
Outside of that, the difference in screen shape on an iPhone and a TV will make it impossible to have a full screen picture on the TV.

If you are using Zoom for the video call, then the video resolution is set to the iPad’s screen when you Airplay, and there is no control for making it full screen on the TV.

What do I need to have a full screen video call on my smart TV ?
Face book and WhatsApp platforms are not available in UAE to have family chats. That’s why I thought Zoom maybe an option I don’t have an iPad only my iPhone
