Upgrade apple TV

Hello

I bought a new Apple TV 4K and before I upgrade I wanted to ask if there is a upgrade process for Apple TV.

• Will my apps be installed when I upgrade?

• will my usernames and passwords be transferred to the new apple tv

• are there specific instructions that I need to folllow to ensure a successful upgrade from my current applets to the new one’
