Which version of GarageBand did you have? If you have still been using the old iLife GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5 or did you already switch to GarageBand 10? GarageBand '11 can no longer run on macOS 10.15, because it needs 32-bit system frameworks, that are missing in macOS 10.15 Catalina and any more recent system version. Only GarageBand 10 can be reinstalled from the AppStore, if you already have a GarageBand 10 version in your Purchase history.
