Gift Card

As I tried to make a purchase on a game with my gift card it asked for verification, as I proceeded it provided me with two options. My debit card, and the gift card. But it didn’t allow me to click or pay with the gift card.

In app purchase/Gift card /Verification Required So i have a $35 Gift card in my account and when i try to use it for in app purchases, games, podcasts, songs, etc it asks me to verify if i have a payment method, when i try to select the $35.18 in my account it brings me to a screen that says redeem or add money, i do not have an apple card or apple cash and i do not have a debit card at the moment but why should i need one if i have money on my account? It wont let me bypass or update it and its acting as if i do not have any money help please!!

I want to make a purchase with my Apple gift card, but it asks for verification. So, I activated my gift card of 25€, and I want to buy something at 23€, but it skips the gift card and asks me a verification to pay with something else. I tried your tips to repair it, but no effect. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Verification of Gift Cards to buy stuff. I am attempting to buy a game on the App Store but it says I need to “verify” a payment method. Only problem is that it says I can only verify a credit card and can’t use my gift card WITH BALANCE STILL LEFT ON IT.
