Entering passwords and mounting an external drive fully automatically

I have a USB drive connected to my Mac Mini that is used as a blind server (is unattended in other words).  The USB drive is password protected.  It must be because of data protection regulations so I cannot turn it off.  Sometimes the MM needs to be restarted (or has a power failure and restarts on its own) and I would like the external drive to load al by itself without a person having to attend.

Is there a way to achieve this?

BTW I am on OS11

Mac mini 2018 or later

Save the password in the keychain of the user account that automatically logs in.
