Photos in iPhoto
Photos in my iPhoto now show up as old photos...I still have the correct and recent photos on iCloud. What do I do to fix this. don't want to lose the photos from iCloud, how do I enter them on iPhoto

It's not about what I would rather call it. They are two different applications, with different issues and different methods of troubleshooting. So, do you see why getting the name right might be important?

You mention your iPhoto file - by which I assume you mean Library - but there is no connection between iPhoto (which was discontinued 6 years go) and iCloud. Are you are that you're not referring to Photos, the app that replaced iPhoto? Or are you running an old version of the operating system and older software?
Your question is unclear, can you give more details? Are you using Photos and iPhoto at the same time?
in my iPhoto file, when I pull it up...it has all old photos, not the recent ones...I found my correct photos on my I cloud but how do I get them in my iPhoto file on my computer
