APPLE ID password

ive changed my apple ID password and it’s still saying the password is wrong, but i’ve already changed it so im really not sure what the issue is?

iPhone 11, iOS 15

Wondering if the old password still works, if so, try changing it again....

or

what the error message actually says, (and whether this issue is when you try to sin in ?)

Eg: - "Inactive" Apple ID/Account ?

or maybe "Verification Failed / This Apple ID is not active ?


If so, Contact Apple Support for help

There is a "Get Support" link to Apple at top right on this discussion page.

Else ... if this is not a sign-in issue ...

You may just need to change to the new password in apps like FaceTime, Messaes etc for it to work ok there?


You might want to follow the steps in this article to update your sign-in information with any Apple services that you're using.
