Additional Monitors

Hello,

I have a Macbook (retina, 12-inch, Early 2015) and want to connect two additional screens (Monitors). Is that possible with this computer? If so, what display adapter is compatible with Mac?

Thank You!

Actually, no, it only supports the use of 1 external monitor. It supports one external 4k monitor and it won’t support Thunderbolt or DisplayPort monitors. You can use 1 external monitor with a HDMI connection.

Yup, ChicagoLCSW, your MacBook (retina 12-inch Early 2015) does support 2 additional monitors, up to 4k k @ 24 hz, with either Thunderbolt 2 or MiniDisplayPort support... it also has one HDMI port.... I don't know if it's a good idea to try to run 3 monitors from it, but two should be OK. As for display adapter, well, MiniDisplayPort should be fine, with HDMI, DVI, VGA, dual-link DVI supported with the appropriate display adapters (which in the case of DVI, should be active ones, and not passive)

hope this helps you a bit
