Hi I purchased the wrong apple pencil, I have an ipad 9th gen (2021) and I got the 2nd gen apple pencil and apparently they aren’t compatible so i’ll need to trade this one in for a 1st generation one. please let me know how I can do this.

If purchased directly from Apple, you have 14-days within which to return the Pencil for exchange or refund.
iPad9 supports the first generation Apple Pencil. The two versions of Apple Pencil use a different pairing and charging interface - and are not interchangeable.
