I am trying to download microsoft 365 for mac, can you help?

I recommend you follow these steps from Microsoft Support: Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 on a PC or Mac - Microsoft Support.

The simplest way to do it is just download the individual apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) from the Mac app store. Then you just sign into them with your Microsoft 365 account the first time you open one of them to activate the subscription on your Mac.
