The whole thing including a good condition front screen assembly and new battery. Apple reduces all repairs to either battery, front screen assembly, or complete replacement. In some countries a screen or battery replacement is simplified into just a full replacement, although at an equivalent price as doing the service alone.

Apple has what they call “replacement devices”, which have a different letter at the beginning of the model number, and may be used or refurbished to a high standard with a fresh battery. They’re used for warranty repair, express replacements, damage/repair replacements under AppleCare+ or at the out of warranty price, etc. In general the customer is responsible for backing up and transferring data, although Apple may help if the damaged device can back up. The exchanged device is taken in and evaluated. Parts may still be usable for making refurbished devices.

Apple is not accepting trade-ins on the 13 series at this time. Even if they were they would not take that one as a trade in but they would recycle it for you. If you did not purchase AppleCare + it will cost you $599 USD to do an out-of-warranty replacement of your iPhone. If you did purchase AppleCare + it will cost you $99 USD. You will get a service replacement unit that is identical to the one you broke.
