How to disconnect iPhone remote from apple tv
When ever I use the remote in my control center it stays connected to the Apple TV and wastes a ton of my battery. How do you disconnect your phone from the tv?

Found a solution besides restarting your phone! Swipe down on control center then hit the blue tv in the top right corner. Then click on the circle on the bottom of the list labeled “Control other Speakers and TV’s”. Then simply click on iPhone. It was the first option for me.
