If I want to transfer from my pc to new Mac mini with 256Gb internal and a 2Tb external ssd, can I select where my documents go to (external ssd) ? using migration assistant

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.


Unfortunately, you cannot do that. Rather, use an external storage device to manually move the data, then Drag and drop items on Mac - Apple Support to the correct new destinations.
