How do I delete Cupertino in my weather app on my ipad?

You are presumably trying to change the current city from the default Cupertino to something closer to home?
Touch-and-hold the Weather Widget - and a menu will appear. Tap the Edit Widget button - and then Location. Either select a city close to you - or choose My Location.
