Phone stuck on signing into your account when pairing Apple watch

manual pairing solved this problem for me

stuck on signing in. was paired previously. says it is paired now to new one. hung up. both ios. factory reset watch.

• Made sure that your iPhone has Bluetooth turned on, and that it's connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
• Has this Apple Watch been paired with another iPhone previously?

I also have this same problem I have 15.2 iOS iPhone XS Max. downloaded and updated watch through app before attempting to ‘signing in to your account this may take a few minutes” tried multiple times restarting all devices and resetting the watch let sit idle for hours no change. The watch is apple SE 40mm

I am facing the sam STUPID issue too! Looks like this is a bug in APPLE. The loading page signing in to your account keep on loading there forever.

Thanks for the update. That worked for me as well. Was going crazy there for a while..... tried everything - reboot, unsinstalling app, restarting phone, going back to factory state etc.

My watch is also stuck on this message, been like that for 15 minutes now, tried all of the above options still does the same thing.. have an old watch paired to the iPhone and don't want to unpair it because it's lost and marked as lost so I am trying to set this watch up as a new watch, not sure if that would be affecting it?
