This is not really a question but a complaint. I just received a new Apple watch SE. In the box was the watch, and band. Also included was a USB-C charging cable but no plug. Why in the world would Apple send a cable but not a plug that the cable will fit into? This is short sighted. It took me three years to buy a second Apple watch. My Apple 1 got so dim it was unusable. I tried to get some trade in for it but I received nothing. I have to say I am not impressed.
You can use the old charging cable & power adapter with the series 7. You will just lose the rapid charging feature. Since I charge mine overnight, every night - that feature is not that important to me. There are many other alternatives. Amazon and Best Buy (to name a few) sell USB-C power adapters similar to Apple's:
Some countries penalize Apple for including a power adapter for ecological reasons since so many old adapters are being disposed in landfills. So Apple hasn't included a power adapter with their devices (except computers) for quite a few years. Other people think Apple is being cheap for not including one. Apple can't win. Just my opinion.
