Watch Screen Off

My wife left her Apple Watch sitting on the chair while she swam. The sun made the entire screen assembly separate from the body. It is dangling on a ribbon connector but fully functional!

Should I just scrap it or can it be bonded together again?

I believe apple can repair it, likely need the battery exchanged
