Restoring Music Library via Time Machine Does Nothing?

Mac Music very recently decided to remove a few songs off of every one of my albums from all my playlists, suffice to say this would take a very long time to restore so I decided to restore the Music Library file located in music using Time Machine however when I do this, no matter which date I choose to restore from, it changes nothing.

Any tips as to why this isn't changing anything?

Cheers in advance

After restoring an older database try holding down option as you launch Music, then click choose library and explicitly select the Music Library.musiclibrary package that you restored.
