I have a new MacBook Air. Can I use the keyboard I have for my iMac 2015 with the new MacBook Air. And can I use the iMac monitor with the new MacBook Air.

Using older Mac as second monitor Hey guys - have an older 2012 iMac and trying to connect to a new iMac to use as 2nd monitor. Connected with Thunderbolt cable and Thunderbolt vis C adapter, tried the command F2 but no go. Tried using original keyboard from 2012 Mac, still no go. Any ideas??

Using old iMac 2011 as an external monitor I have a new MacBook Pro and I want to use my old iMac from 2011 as an external monitor. I have the cable and have tried using Command F2 on the bluetooth keyboard for the old Mac but nothing happens. Any suggestions on how to get it to work?

You can use the keyboard, however, you can not use the iMac as a monitor for it.
